Name change for recycling firm

As of the 1st of September 2016, the German company Duesmann & Hensel Recycling, which is headquartered in Aschaffenburg, Germany, will change its name to Hensel Recycling.

The specialist in precious metal recycling claims that the communication will be based on a motto “New name, same service. ”

In 2014, the company’s owners, Clemens and Thomas Hensel, had acquired the shares of Alexandra and Ralf Duesmann. The company further claims that the name change, which removed the mention of Duesmann, will reinforce the family identity of the company.

If the new name is already being used, and has been since March the 1st, in communicating the brand, the change will not officially take effect until the 1st of September.

Clemens Hensel commented on this decision, stating “We wish to reassure our customers that only our name is changing, and our services, our employees and all that makes our company what it is will remain exactly as before. Today Hensel Recycling is a leader in the recycling of precious metals, and it will remain so in the coming years. “
